The feeder tube is made of durable polycarbonate plastic that is perfect for one quart of sunflower seed or mixed seed. The six reinforced feeder ports have individual perches. The flow-through base prevents seed from collecting, so that squirrels are not enticed to cling and feed. The large metal roof and cap help to prevent squirrel damage and serve to keep seed dry and fresh. The ingenious lock keeps squirrels from lifting the cap.
